SPA 1 - Maximising the value of Public Further Education and Training expenditure

To ensure that all resources at PFET institutions are optimally utilised for the maximum benefit of all our clients.

SPA 3 - Improving FET performance through quality management

To create a culture of quality through continuous improvement that promotes excellence in all spheres of operations.

SPA 4 - Improve and promote the use of ICT in the FET sector

To provide ICT services that encourage the adoption of innovative and effective learning and teaching approaches as well as administrative practices.

SPA 5 - Promoting FET

To enhance the image of the FET sector and to promote the value and significance of vocational education and training as a catalyst for the economic development of South Africa.

SPA 6 - Improving teaching and learning

To establish WCED as the leading FET sector through continuous capacity building and support for staff, investing in the latest technology and provision of student support services that will result in successful learning to facilitate career progression and mobility
